Position Overview:

Do you have passion for building relationships and networking with top producing loan originators and branch managers? Do you have a network of candidates looking for the next best career opportunity? Do you have a desire to work for a top 5 national lender that will provide you with a competitive advantage? With over 600 retail branch locations, CrossCountry Mortgage has experienced growth in recent years, and we want to continue growing. This person will be responsible for recruiting originators and branches that meet the company’s minimum volume and unit metrics. In addition, this person will work closely with Divisional Sales Leaders and Branch Managers on their recruiting efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Executive Level VPs, Regional Managers, Directors, Branch Managers, and Sales to source, qualify, interview and hire top producing Loan Officers/Mortgage Bankers and Branch Manager candidates in strategically defined market regions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
  • Develop action plan for growth in target markets including metrics from first contact to successful hire.
  • Meet hiring goals as determined by the Recruiting Department leadership.
  • Source passive candidates through networking using existing database and internet research techniques.
  • Communicate weekly with Regional and Branch Managers to review recruiting reports, growth goals and progress weekly communications.
  • Provide weekly candidate’s pipeline updates to Regional, Recruiting and Sales leadership.
  • Develop and maintain candidate relationships for current and future hiring needs.
  • Source, qualify and recruit top producing Originators and Branch Managers.
  • Communicate the culture of the organization to prospective candidates.
  • Network with referral partners and passive and proactive candidates.
  • Target candidates through all communication channels.
  • Direct passive searches utilizing Boolean searches, cold call, and networking techniques.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Mortgage Sales Recruiter with proven track record.
  • Experience in supporting Sales Leaders and Branch Managers in their recruiting efforts.
  • Experience in cultivating and maintaining ongoing contact with referral base.
  • Commitment to successfully achieve (and exceed) hiring goals as determined by the recruiting leadership.
  • Currently maintaining a database of Loan Originators, Branch Managers, general mortgage professionals and referral partners.
  • Proficient with Applicant Tracking systems or CRM to ensure all efforts are consistently up to date to enable accurate and timely reporting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

Pay Range:

  • $60,000-80,000 (bonus eligible)
